Recertification Options

Recertification entitles you to:

• Be qualified as a Certified Federal Job Search Trainer (CFJST)
• Receive 20 copies each of the new book titles: the Jobseeker’s Guide, 4th Edition and the Military to Federal Career Guide, 2nd Edition
• Renew your license to train with Ten Steps to a Federal Job(tm) PowerPoint preseentation (now in the third edition), and earn the license to teach the two NEW PowerPoints for the Jobseeker’s Guide and the Military to Federal Career Guide
• Use the Ten Steps and CFJST Logo on your business card, website, bio, workshop handouts
• Receive up-to-date knowledge of federal job search advisement and training strategies
• Communicate directly with Kathryn Troutman concerning workshops, federal job search questions, and federal job strategies

Recertification Options

Option #1: Full 3 Day Program

Return to one of our 3-day programs at a discounted price of $995. Receive 24 CEUs and the two year recertification.

Option #2: A Series of Four Federal Career Webinars

Attend a series of four weekly webinars and receive 8 CEUs.

SCHEDULE

Webinars will be scheduled once a week during these months:

• September 2010
• January 2011
• April 2011
• July 2011
• September 2011

Two hours each webinar, 12 noon to 2 pm ET

We reserve the right to not teach the program unless we receive a minimum of four registrations.

TECHNOLOGY

Web2go will be used for the training sessions. If you cannot access web2go, you will receive a PDF of the training materials and will be able to participate in the training via phone and follow along with the PDF.

Each of the four webinars will be recorded.

Pre-Course Examination
Pre-course review of two resources: Jobseeker’s Guide, 4th Ed. and Military to Federal Career Guide, 2nd Ed. We will email to you as PDFs. We will also ship 20 copies of each book to you before the course, along with both PowerPoints and course programs before the webinars begin.

Webinar 1: Jobseeker’s Guide 4th Edition and new PowerPoint program

Webinar 2: Federal Human Resources Hiring Processes, New Veteran’s Preference Program and Spouse Noncompetitive Hiring Eligibilities

Webinar 3: Military to Federal Career Guide 2nd Edition, Federal Resume Writing for Vets – new PowerPoint program. This is a new licensed PowerPoint for the CFJST / CFCC licensed trainers.

Webinar 4: How to apply using USAJOBS, Application Manager, Avuecentral.com, CPOL, and other online builders.
