These KSAs must be covered in the federal resume. Our solution is to write short narratives from your Accomplishment Record that will demonstrate the KSAs. This must be accomplished in the character lengths of the federal resume builder. These new announcements instructions are all different and will require a Custom Quote.

Unfortunately, each federal application is different. Each agency and announcement can have different online systems, vacancy announcement requests and instructions. In addition, our clients are all in different stages of their job search process and with differing levels of writing skills and familiarity with the federal job search process. All of these factors can impact the time spent by our professional writing staff in preparing your federal application.

FEDERAL APPLICATIONS AND “HOW TO APPLY” INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALL DIFFERENT:

Complex application instructions: Some announcements will require numerous narrative essays, personal statements, questionnaires, and attachments that could require time to read, analyze, interpret and digest for writing the best possible federal resume.

KSAs may have to be included in the resume. This will require mini-KSA examples from your Accomplishment Record to be INCLUDED within your Federal resume while still meeting the character restrictions for specific online resume builders. More agencies are NOT requiring separate KSA narratives, but the expertise and skills must STILL be reflected in the resume.

Multiple documents to review: If you provide many documents, we may need to give you a custom quote. Documents may include: position descriptions, job evaluations, numerous vacancy announcements, letters from former employers, training certifications and lists, multiple resumes, past KSAs and narratives to review.

Additional interview and email communication: Some job seekers require more interview time for background information, accomplishments, email communication, review and discussion of complex topics and accomplishments.

Writing time can vary: complex applications, narratives, lengthy resumes can take more time than our flat rate packages quoted in this website.

Coaching and technical assistance time may vary: Some applicants and applications are highly complex with multiple on-line forms, uploads and questionnaires. We will charge by the hour to coach and instruct you in the uploading and online application processes.

Availability of existing documents: While we recommend that clients come to us with at least a basic resume or outline of their working history, education, and training, we recognize that not all of our clients will have this to begin with. Our custom quotes will include interview and analysis time from scratch.

These applications will be quoted based on the application and available documentation and information.

FEDERAL RESUME AND CONSULTING HOURLY RATES:

Entry-Level Applications: Targeting positions up to GS 11:  $150 per hour

Mid-Level Applications: Targeting positions from GS 11 through GS 13:  $175 per hour

Senior-level and Complex Applications: Targeting positions GS 14 and up:  $200 per hour

*We reserve the right to assign the hourly rate based on the project, which may be complex, unusual and difficult in content and nature.
