Yes, this is your last year (untl they dream up a new self-assessment system), that you will have to write at least 3 Job Objectives and 2 accomplishments for each of the JOs. And it would be great if you built the accomplishments with the right keywords from the Performance Indicators.

What’s in the 2^nd edition?

All of the Job Objective samples in the book were turned into SMART format and were written to the 1,000 character length. We heard a lot of complaints this year about writing Job Objectives and we hope that these additional samples make the process easier.

We added five new Case Studies with complete JOs and Self-Assessments from our DOD employee volunteers. The case studies include before and after Job Objectives; some before and after Self-Assessments; as well as Mission and Unique Component Mission content.

We put the five new Case Studies right into the PAA 3.0,
so you can envision the length and the readability of our format in the PAA form. We used the Fillable PAA provided by DOD to produce excellent samples for you. These samples are beautiful – designed by Paulina Chen.

NEW – We created the Job Objective and Self-Assessment Library so that we can combine the first edition rewrites and the new second edition Self-Assessments and Job Objectives into a total Archive/Library. This amazing resource will make it easy for you to find your Career Group, Pay Plan and Occupational Series.

Chapters in the book were updated with the new case studies, new character length and new ideas for writing the NSPS Self-Assessment.
