A Resume Place Resume and KSAs/ECQs Can Spread Cheer to a Jobseeker or Transitioning Employee in the Federal Marketplace

“When jobseekers want to apply for a position with Uncle Sam, they can be confused about the right way to write a federal resume, or the most effective steps to take,” noted Troutman. “Your gift can help get the jobseeker get on track and show them that they’re not alone in their efforts to make a change. This can make a tremendous difference.”

The beauty of the holiday season is that it reminds us to reach out and give to others who make a difference in our lives. This holiday season, there may be a federal jobseeker in your circle who could benefit from a gift of support from you. This could come in the simple form of an encouraging note in a holiday card, a motivating phone call, or a resume-writing package, book, or other gift idea you’ll find at The Resume Place’s website, www.resume-place.com.

“Right now, there are areas of the US government which are undergoing tremendous transitions,” noted Kathryn K. Troutman, an expert on the federal workplace. “In some cases, federal employees need to secure a new position in order to complete their years toward retirement. So your jobseeker could be a current federal employee facing a transition, a new college grad, a returning veteran, or a private-sector-to-federal job hunter.
