HOW TO APPLY LESSON - QuickHire
“FAILURE TO PROVIDE A COMPLETE APPLICATION PACKAGE MAY RESULT
IN NOT RECEIVING CONSIDERATION FOR THIS POSITION.”
Can’t find the Questions?
Hello Federal Jobseekers,
This week I have met 3 people who have lost consideration for Federal
jobs because they did not apply correctly. So, I am going to begin a
series of “how to apply” lessons for certain
positions. These lessons will apply to other positions and agencies
using the same systems. This week’s lesson is the IRS Career
Connector system, which is a QuickHire system. The Quickhire on-line
application system is recognized because of the Resume plus Questions
format.
The problems that jobseekers have are:
- They do not realize that the
USAJOBS announcement is not the same as the AGENCY-Specific
announcement (which is where you actually apply for the job)
- Jobseekers do not find or
realize that the QUESTIONS have to be answered.
- Jobseekers do not FAX the
documents that are required.
We will study one sample announcement for IRS, which is an agency using
QuickHire systems to recruit applicants and manage resumes.
