Kathryn provided all of the sample resumes for Joyce Lain Kennedy’s new book, Resumes For Dummies®, 5th Edition The Military to Federal Career Guide, published by The Resume Place, Inc., was recognized as a finalist in two categories: Careers and Reference - for the 2007 Foreword Magazine Book of the Year Awards Program Conference attendees (booksellers, university and public librarians, federal jobseekers) lined up to speak with Kathryn and to get a signed copy of Kathryn’s new book for their patrons and family members. Lindsay Lefevere, an acquisitions editor at Wiley Publishers, greeted Kathryn at her book signing. Federal jobseeker from New York City gladly receives an autographed copy of Kathryn’s new book focused on USAJOBS and the Resume Builder. Kathryn, author of the Federal Resume Guidebook, Fourth Edition, and Katy Piotrowski, author of Career Coward’s Guide to Changing Career, proudly display their new books at book signing event. Kathryn meets for the first time, Thomas H. Ackerman, author of Federal Law Enforcement Careers, Second Edition, and FBI JOBS, for a quick photo and active discussion about federal jobs at the JIST exhibit. Major companies such as Google participated with an Exhibit at the conference. Kathryn visits exhibitors present at the conference.
