Format

• 4 one-hour teleclasses and two federal resume and KSA review sessions by expert federal resume writers
• Teleclasses will be provided by telephone and Internet. This is not a webinar.

5. Individual Coaching Session on Federal Resume & KSA Review (4 CEUs)

You will work directly with a Resume Place, Inc. professional resume expert for two one-hour sessions. These sessions will give you insight on how to improve your coaching skills when you assist your clients in analyzing a vacancy announcement and applying the analysis to a successful resume.

Send us two resumes that you are coaching on, then make individual CFJST Recertification appointments for two coaching sessions.

In the first session, you be the client and the Resume Place writer will be the coach. You present an announcement and a draft resume, and the Resume Place writer will “coach” you as a client to analyze the announcement and improve the resume.

During the second session, the roles will be reversed. The Resume Place writer will present you with an announcement and draft resume, and you will coach them through the vacancy announcement analysis and resume re-work process. Your trainer will then give you feedback on how to improve your coaching skills.

Handouts

Ten Steps to a Federal Job, 2nd Ed., and handouts from the Merit Systems Protection Board covering FCIP and Veteran’s Preference. All at no additional fee, mailed to you.
