The Certified Federal Career Counselor Program is designed for university, college, and education career counselors and professionals. The program was started in 2008 and is scheduled to return in 2010. Learn how to help your students land high quality internships and positions with the federal government. Many positions pay tuition reimbursement, offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits. This program teaches you how to coach and advise your students in this somewhat complex application process.

  • Learn about: the Ten Steps method of finding and landing federal government jobs; the federal hiring process for students; resources and tools for a successful job search; trends in federal hiring affecting job search strategies; and best practices for setting up a federal career services program at your school.
  • Become licensed for two years to teach the highly-successful Ten Steps to a Federal Job curriculum. Licensure gives you the right to use the designation “Certfied Federal Career Coach” for professional use.
