It is still uncertain which agencies will become part of the new department, but here is a proposed list of agencies and a partial list of the homeland security jobs.

All agencies are hiring Administrative Support / Secretarial / Clerical; Contract Specialists; Information Technologists; Personnel Specialists; Program Analysts; and Public Affairs Professionals.

TSA:   Transportation Security Administration: Administrative Officer, Airport Screeners, Assistant Federal Security Director for Screening, Customer Support and Quality Improvement Manager, Deputy Federal Security Director, Federal Security Directors, Human Resource Specialist, Industrial Engineer, Lead Screeners, Scheduling Operations Officer, Screening Manager, Secretary, Stakeholder Liaison, Stakeholder Manager, Supervisory Screeners, and Training Coordinator.

Current hiring objectives: 33,000 screeners in place by Nov. 19, 2002!
