Joy is a seasoned career coach with more than 20 years experience in executive coaching and human resources in the public and private sectors. She is a Certified Federal Resume Writer and Trainer, with expert knowledge in federal hiring and selection and Kathryn Troutman’s effective outline format resume writing.

Joy has directed recruiting programs for employers ranging from Federal Contractors to Fortune 500 companies. Her career coaching includes strategic career planning, resume and KSA development, and interview coaching. She is talented at uncovering a candidate’s best attributes, helping clients identify their key skills, past accomplishments, and prepare for their own interview process.

An often published free-lance author, Joy was named Arizona Writer of the Year in 1995. She has written resumes, marketing materials, articles, short-stories, and training materials. She has her own blog and is currently working on her first book.

Joy has worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory, Cardinal Health, Motorola (government and semiconductor sectors), as well as pharmaceutical and medical companies. She has a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing.

Joy divides her time between New Mexico, Arizona, Florida and Washington DC.
