Karen Silberstein is an experienced Federal Resume and KSA Writer and coach. She comes to Resume Place with over twelve years of professional writing experience; more than five years in educational publishing, designing and implementing training, education and professional development programs. She also has experience in outreach and communications on Capitol Hill.

She has expertise creating a wide array of resumes. Some of her specialties include law (including administrative law judge packages), human resources, communications, marketing finance, science and technology, social services, and difficult career transitions.

Karen applies her expertise in coaching clients to analyze client goals, objectives, and qualifications, evaluate existing client resumes and application materials, and guide clients through the federal application process.

Karen holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University in French Literature. Prior to working for The Resume Place, Karen taught French language and humanities classes for over ten years to college students in New York City.
