Marcie Barnard

Marcie Barnard brings to The Resume Place more than 30 years’ experience as a technical writer-editor and software documentation manager. Marcie has a working knowledge of Department of Defense policies and procedures. In her recent position with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Marcie’s responsibilities included the production of software engineering documentation for a variety of programs that conform to U.S. military standards and specifications. As a member of the Publications Staff of Sperry Corporation, she received a solid foundation in dealing with these military specifications.

As Section Head of the Engineering Documentation Group at CAE-LINK Corporation, Marcie directed the work of 18 technical writers and editors and managed large commercial and military projects. She has also worked as a manager and technical writer for Vanguard Technologies, where she was responsible for the documentation of Department of Energy data collection systems.

Marcie’s technical background provides her with the ability to present your technical expertise and skill in a concise and clear manner. Her work with Federal contractors has given her a thorough knowledge of what Federal employers are looking for.

Marcie received a B.S. in early childhood education from the University of Maryland at College Park and an M.S. in health education and business administration from Towson University.
