I have a phone interview for a Contract Specialist Intern with the Department of the Navy, and I was wondering if you had any advice regarding intern phone interviews. I have your book, and thanks to your writing staff this is the first time I've gotten an interview.

Kathy,

Federal Resume Guidebook is a must read. I have been in the federal government for 13 years and found this book to be extremely helpful. The resumes that I produced for past announcements were plagued with bureaucratic writing that was not exciting and choppy to say the least. After covering several chapters of the book, my resume generated have taken on a new look and feel with outlines and shorter more powerful sentences making it easier to read for HR Specialist and Hiring Official. I have recommended it as a must read to several of my colleagues. Thanks so much.
