Because of the increased request of more and more KSAs and Essays with federal applications, Resume Place has created a new, more affordable education, coaching and editorial KSA service. This service is designed to help federal jobseekers write KSAs and Essays that is expert and will result in excellent KSA / Essay narratives written by YOU.
KSA and Essay Coaching and Editing Costs?
Minimum: 3 hours of consulting optional: additional hours of editorial support
You can choose your time for KSA and essay editing support based on your budget and the number of KSAs or essays required in the announcement.
HOW OUR TIME WILL BE MANAGED FOR YOUR KSA AND ESSAY COACHING AND EDITORIAL PROJECT:
Hour 1: ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION OF THE JOB
- Review resume, announcement and KSAs. Review the description of the job and analyze the position from the supervisor’s perspective
- Analysis of type of KSAs vs. Essays, length discussion, rating and raking discussion
- Discuss announcement duties, agency mission and program to analyze the best possible KSA answers that can be drawn from the client’s resume and background
- KSA Education – What is a KSA? How long should this be and what should be included?
- Review the KSA narrative and discuss the meaning of the KSA as compared to the Duties, Qualifications, Specialized Experience and the Agency mission
- Brainstorm with the client about an example that might work for one or two of the KSAs, that could be MOST impressive for the hiring panel or supervisor
Hour 2: INTERVIEW YOU ON ONE OR TWO EXAMPLES
- Review the resume further and coach the client into thinking of examples that could support the KSAs.
- Interview the client regarding one most significant accomplishment, using the KSA Builder
- Use the KSA Builder to demonstrate the use and purpose of the CCAR writing formula
- Send the KSA interview narrative to the client
- Explain how KSAs are to be outlined in the CCAR and give homework
Hour 3: EDIT ONE KSA
- Review a KSA CCAR that is written by a client and give feedback and edit one KSA
- Review a second KSA CCARs if that is possible within our time
Further Coaching and Editing? Your KSA Coach and Editor can continue services, or may feel confident enough to write and edit the entire KSA narrative required.
KSA and Essay Coaching and Editing Service:
3 hour minimum:
- $125 per hour, GS 4-11 target jobs
- $150 per hour, GS 13 and up positions
