We will:

Advise you on finding the best possible vacancy announcements.
Review your resume and tell you what should be added or changed to make it more "federal" and to demonstrate you are "best qualified" for your target jobs.
Help you decide which jobs are the best for you based on experience, education and availability; recommend agencies for specific search; recommend resume formats that will best promote your qualifications.
Review announcements that you find to determine if they are reasonable for your qualifications - and within reach.
Interpret the "how to apply" instructions in announcements, which are so difficult to understand.
Answer all kinds of federal job search questions, including how the process works, how to follow up on applications.

What resume format are you seeking?
Read the HOW TO APPLY instructions on the vacancy announcements to determine the resume format and supplemental information required.
As you read the vacancy announcements, you will see that each agency
requires a different resume format. Some agencies are automated and require an electronic resume (no paper). These agencies include Defense agencies:
Navy, AF, Army; non-Defense agencies: Environmental Protection Agency,
Commerce Dept., U.S. Geological Survey, Library of Congress, etc. Many others are converting to automated HR systems all the time.
There are numerous agencies that still require a "paper" federal resume and set of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) statements. Agencies that are still requiring paper and mailed (or faxed) applications include: Health and Human Services, Justice Department, and some agencies from Interior.
